THE COCONUT COLLAB

A choc-pot product launch

Most health food campaigns tell you what's in the product. This one showed you what it does to your face. Supporting the concept and directing on shoot,
I helped The Coconut Collab launch their new choc pots with a campaign built around a single human truth — that involuntary, eyes-closed mmm moment that everyone recognises. A video and social campaign that led
with feeling rather than function.

The Challenge

The Coconut Collab had a new product to launch — choc pots — and needed a campaign that could make people feel something before they'd even tasted one. In a crowded health food category where most brands lead with ingredients, certifications and nutritional credentials, the challenge was to find the human truth that sat underneath the product and build a campaign around that instead.

The Approach

Everyone has that moment. One spoonful and the world stops. Eyes close, shoulders drop, and without meaning to — mmm. The creative idea was built around that involuntary, unguarded reaction — the thing
that happens to your face when something tastes that good. Not a product claim. A human truth.

  • Campaign Concept & Creative Strategy
Supported the development of the central campaign idea — finding the emotional territory that set 'The Coconut Collab' apart from every other health food brand leading with what's in the pot rather than what it makes you feel. A concept rooted in a single, simple, universally relatable moment that gave the whole campaign its creative anchor.

  • Shoot Direction
Supported the direction on shoot — three distinct scenes, each built around capturing that unguarded mmm moment authentically. Overseeing talent direction, composition and visual tone to make sure every frame felt warm, real and consistent with the brand's approachable, joyful personality. The brief was to make it feel less like an ad and more like something you'd want to watch.

  • Video Edit
Brought the shoot to life in the edit — pacing, music and visual rhythm working together to build to that single emotional beat. The kind of edit where every cut earns its place, and the product feels like the natural conclusion to a feeling rather than the point of the whole exercise.

  • Social Assets
Extended the campaign into social — adapting the warmth and wit of the video into formats built for the feed. Consistent emotional tone, built to stop the scroll without shouting.

Outcomes

A product launch campaign built around a human truth rather than a health claim — and all the stronger for it. Delivered from concept support through to shoot direction, edit and social assets, the work gave 'The Coconut Collab' a campaign that felt as good as the product tasted. Warm, real and impossible not to smile at.
